The world famous Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels tradition. The day begins with the children's barrels from around 4:00pm, followed by the grand bonfire and evening celebrations. Please note that the evening events after 7:00pm are not suitable for small children, but the earlier children's event allows families to experience the tradition.
